Vitex essential oil has a unique aroma emitting a complex collage of sweetness, mint and camphor. Our subjective experience is that women resonate to this novel aroma.
While not recommended internally, some women respond positively when Vitex essential oil is mixed with carrier oils – and other essential oils as seen fit – and gently dabbed on to wrists, ankles and pulse points on the body, or as a massage oil. Diffused, it sets forth an air of balanced wellness and focus. Some people diffuse it occasionally for natural sleep support.
This healthy essential oil is extracted from berries and leaves of the Chaste tree which grows in tropical and subtropical regions throughout the world. The aerial parts, leaves and berries are steam distilled.
